Millions across the globe live without hope, thronging daily into a Christless eternity. ( In this basket ,you have your kinsmen, colleagues, neighbours , friends and so on who had passed on at one time or the other). This is the main reason why bringing souls to heaven is the heartbeat of God and of our Lord Jesus Christ. No wonder the bible says in the gospel of Luke 15:7 ” … there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents….”. Winning souls to heaven stabilizes the heartbeat , pulse rate , or if permitted to say , the blood pressure of heaven. Soul winning is not a specialized church assignment for a few believers, it is the major command of our Lord Jesus and it is the main reason for the existence of the church and also the ultimate rescue mission the church embarks upon here on earth. Answering the Master’s call therefore is the starting point of aligning our heartbeats directly with the heart of God . This we do by sharing the gospel, directly or indirectly via kind conversations, tracts distribution , sharing our testimonies , acts of kindness and so on which eventually breaks the chains of darkness over a bound soul and also enrich our personal walk with God Heaven throws a lavish party over just one sinner who repents and turns to God as a result of your act of obedience. Can you picture the scenario of you being surrounded and celebrated in heaven by people you choose to talk to about Christ. Your answering the Master’s call and obedience today changes someone’s eternal destiny.It is time we wake up from our spiritual slumber and step up with boldness to answer the Master’s call to soul winning. May the Lord circumcise and baptise our hearts with the passion for the lost and cloth us with the drive and zeal for soul winning.
